Softball Recap: Lorena Comes Up Short

Lorena was the 6-2 winner over China Spring when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Leopards lost 10-4 to the Cougars on Tuesday.

Brooklynn Rodriguez made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Lorena's loss dropped their record down to 18-9. As for China Spring, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-4.

While Lorena had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
