Basketball Game Preview: East Grand Rapids Pioneers vs. Calvary Crusaders

The East Grand Rapids Pioneers and the Calvary Crusaders will round out the year against one another at on Saturday.

East Grand Rapids will head into Thursday's match out to bounce back: they won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Thursday. They took a blow against Zeeland East, falling 75-6. The game marked the Pioneers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Calvary). They took their matchup last Tuesday with ease, bagging a 59-28 victory over West Michigan Lutheran. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

East Grand Rapids' defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Calvary, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
