Basketball Recap: Watersprings Comes Up Short

Watersprings lost against Challis back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Watersprings took a blow against the Challis Vikings, falling 42-8. The match marked Watersprings' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Ally Zellner was Watersprings' leading scorer, having posted four points. Caroline Combs held things down on the boards with four rebounds.

Watersprings has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Challis, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-4.

Watersprings wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 33-22 defeat against Taylor's Crossing on the 9th. As for Challis, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 41-8 victory against North Gem on the 9th.
