Elkhorn South faced Papillion-LaVista in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Storm never let the Monarchs get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. Give Elkhorn South's defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Blu Keiper, who's now up to six this season.

Elkhorn South's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matches. As for Papillion-LaVista, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-2.
