Basketball Recap: Collinwood Drops Highest Score of Season Against John Marshall

Collinwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 60-50 to the John Marshall Lawyers. One positive for the Railroaders, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

John Marshall's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Reece Green led the charge by putting up 17 points. The dominant performance gave Green a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Jaiden Taylor, who posted 12 points.

Collinwood's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for John Marshall, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Collinwood will venture away from home to take on Grand River Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for John Marshall, they will square off against Rhodes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
