Soccer Recap: Choctawhatchee Takes a Loss

After flying high against Crestview last Tuesday, Choctawhatchee came back down to earth. The Choctawhatchee Indians fell 3-1 to the North Bay Haven Academy Buccaneers on Wednesday. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Indians couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Justice Williams, who's now up to 14 this season.

Choctawhatchee's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for North Bay Haven Academy, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-4-1.

Choctawhatchee wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Lincoln on the 11th. As for North Bay Haven Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Booker T. Washington at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. North Bay Haven Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.9 goals per game this season.
