Boulder City faced Mojave in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Rattlers 2-1. The win was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won 12 matchups in a row.

Their offense was headlined by Samuel O'Shaughnessy and Preston Van Beveren, who picked up six kills apiece. O'Shaughnessy really made an impact as he also led the team in assists with 13. David Zwahlen controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Boulder City's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Mojave, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.

Boulder City has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Desert Oasis on the 5th. As for Mojave, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Somerset Sky Pointe on the 5th.
