Preview: Highland Park Scots vs. Harmon Hawks
The Highland Park Scots will stay at home for another week and welcome the Harmon Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th.
There was early excitement for Highland Park after they claimed the first score on Friday, but it was Washington who ended up claiming the real prize. Highland Park fell 28-20 to Washington.
Despite the loss, Highland Park got a solid performance out of CJ Brown, who picked up 138 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Even if they lost, Highland Park's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Jamelle Wms-sanders jr..
Meanwhile, Harmon's 15-game losing streak dating back to last season came to an end on Friday. They didn't even let St. Mary's Academy onto the board and left with a 13-0 victory. The victory was just what Harmon needed coming off of a 31-7 loss in their prior game.
Washington's win bumped their season record to 5-3 while Highland Park's defeat dropped theirs to 6-2.
Everything came up roses for Highland Park against Harmon in their previous matchup back in September as the team secured a 40-6 win. Does Highland Park have another victory up their sleeve, or will Harmon turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
