Basketball Recap: The King's Academy Comes Up Short

The King's Academy fought the good fight in their overtime match against Dominion Christian on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of Dominion Christian by a score of 68-66. The King's Academy was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Dominion Christian earlier this season, when they won 80-43.

It was another big night for Drew Walker, who posted 20 points and eight rebounds for Dominion Christian. Another player making a difference was Sage Sheppard, who went 7-for-14 en route to 16 points.

The King's Academy's loss dropped their record down to 19-6. As for Dominion Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Dominion Christian beat The King's Academy by a score of 72-71 on Tuesday.
