Nate Downing gave up the fewest walks he has since back in April on Wednesday. He turned in nothing short of a gem, striking out six batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Claymont is 4-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 5-14 otherwise.
