Baseball Recap: Millburn Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Seton Hall Prep, Millburn was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Montclair Mounties by a score of 5-2. This was a revenge game for the Millers: when they faced off against the Mounties back in April, they had to take a 6-1 defeat.

Millburn saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Greg Rosenthal, who went 2-for-4 with two runs. Rosenthal has become a key player for the Millers: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 7-10 otherwise.

Millburn now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Montclair, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14-1 record this season.

Millburn will head out to square off against West Essex at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Montclair, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Livingston at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
