It was a good run, but East Forsyth unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the West Forsyth Titans by a score of 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Eagles have suffered since February 28th.

East Forsyth saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aaliyah Long, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

East Forsyth's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for West Forsyth, they pushed their record up to 21-1 with the victory, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Forsyth will welcome Glenn at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bobcats' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for West Forsyth, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against R.J. Reynolds at 6:00 p.m.
