Tintic hadn't done well against Piute recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Miners were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Thunderbirds. The Miners not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since September 27th (when they won 3-0).

Tintic is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season. As for Piute, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 11-13 record.

Tintic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Piute, they will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Tabiona at 12:00 p.m.
