Football Recap: Lake Nona Comes Up Short

Lake Nona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took an 18-0 bruising from the Olympia Titans. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 282nd, while the Titans are ranked 96th).

Lake Nona's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Olympia, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

Looking ahead, Lake Nona will face off against Windermere at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Olympia, they are taking a road trip to challenge Colonial at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
