While Ayden - Grifton put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for West Craven. The Ayden - Grifton Chargers blew past the West Craven Eagles 12-0. The result was nothing new for the Chargers, who have now won three games by ten runs or more so far this season.

West Craven's batters probably weren't too happy with Camden Wilson, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 13 Ks (he gave up zero walks). What's more, Wilson gave up only zero hits, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2024.

On the hitting side, Parker Roland was excellent, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3. Brysen Williams was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

The win made it two in a row for Ayden - Grifton and bumps their season record up to 4-1. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to hits: they averaged an imposing 13 hits in those games compared to only 5.33 in the others. As for West Craven, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Ayden - Grifton beat West Craven by a score of 7-3 on Friday.
