Basketball Recap: Glenbard East Takes a Loss

If Glenbard East was feeling good fresh off their 60-21 takedown of Fenton on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Glenbard East Rams were outmatched by the Waubonsie Valley Warriors and fell 70-39. The Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-18.

Danyella Mporokoso was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 28 points and 12 rebounds for Waubonsie Valley. Mporokoso has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Maya Cobb, who went 6 for 9 on her way to 13 points along with six boards and four steals.
