Softball Recap: Beaverton Beats Harrison for Their Third Straight Victory

Eight must be Beaverton's lucky number: they beat Harrison with that score not once but twice on Tuesday. The Beavers walked away with an 8-3 win over the Hornets. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-4 on Tuesday.

Reese Mishler was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. That's the most doubles she has posted over her last seven matches. Another player making a difference was Bryar Pollard, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

The victory (which was Beaverton's third in a row) raised their record to 7-17. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Harrison, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-19.
