Volleyball Recap: Lithia Springs Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Lithia Springs challenged Villa Rica on Tuesday. The Lions took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. The Lions were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Lithia Springs has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-18 record this season. As for Villa Rica, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 21-5.

Lithia Springs has already played their next game (against New Manchester), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Villa Rica, they will square off against Gordon Lee at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
