3A Narrows recap Oct. 3, 2012

Shelton extended the longest winning streak in 3A Narrows this week by beating Foss, 43-8. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.

North Thurston was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after beating Wilson 34-0. The Rams came in at 19 in the state poll after placing at number 26 last week.

Lincoln's J'Maka Love and Joshua Eckwood have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Love has thrown for 683 yards this season, while Eckwood, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has 20 catches for 383 yards. North Thurston's Brandon Belisario leads the league in rushing yards with 341.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Abes take on Shelton. Lincoln is currently in fourth, while Matt Hinkle's team is in first.

The High Climbers took down the Falcons 43-8 last week, the largest margin of any game.
