Baseball Recap: Paramus Takes a Loss

Paramus fell victim to Paramus Catholic and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 11-0 to the Paladins. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Paladins apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2021.

Paramus' loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Paramus Catholic, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, Paramus will head out on the road to face off against Hackensack at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Comets' pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so the Spartans' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Paramus Catholic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northern Highlands at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Paladins 2.2, the Highlanders 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
