Recap: Grove City Eagles vs. Wilmington Greyhounds
The Grove City Eagles fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They took their game at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 58-28 victory over Wilmington. The result was nothing new for Grove City, who have now won five matchups by 30 points or more so far this season.
Hunter Hohman continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 384 yards and four touchdowns while completing 84% of his passes, and also rushing for 107 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries. Hohman was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 64 yards. Nathan Greer was another key contributor, picking up 204 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Grove City is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Wilmington, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Grove City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Wilmington is also done with their season.
