Trinity Episcopal has gone 8-1-1 against Saint Gertrude recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Titans will look to defend their home pitch against the Gators at 5:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Trinity Episcopal is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering St. Anne's-Belfield just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Tuesday. Neither they nor the Saints could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Saint Gertrude's offense. They came up short against Veritas School on Monday, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Saint Gertrude can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 160th, while Veritas School are ranked 24th).

With that draw, Trinity Episcopal's record moves to 10-4-2. As for Saint Gertrude, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8-2.

Everything went Trinity Episcopal's way against Saint Gertrude when the teams last played back in March, as Trinity Episcopal made off with a 5-0 victory. Do the Titans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Gators turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
