Alba-Golden waltzed into their contest on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They took down the Union Grove Lions 51-32. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 43-26 loss the last time these two teams met.

Alba-Golden has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.5 points per game. As for Union Grove, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-9.

Alba-Golden didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 37-30 win against Blue Ridge on the 28th. Union Grove and West Rusk will round out the year against one another at at 12:15 p.m. on Monday.
