Lyons had already won eight in a row and they went ahead and made it nine on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Gananda Central Blue Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lyons took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-11, 25-10.

Lyons was led to victory by Kamryn Bonnell and Rylee Richardson. Bonnell had 23 assists and six aces, while Richardson had nine aces. Those nine aces gave Richardson a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: Lyons was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 22 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in ten consecutive matchups.

Lyons' win bumped their record up to 12-3-2. As for Gananda Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8.
