Basketball Recap: Cannon Cougars vs. Christ School Greenies
Cannon and Christ School squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Cannon had to settle for second. They were dealt a 75-38 defeat at the hands of the Christ School Greenies. The Cougars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-19.
Sean Nix and Evan Ingram certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Nix posted 14 points and three steals, while Ingram earned nine points and three steals. That was a full 36.8% of Cannon's points, marking the fifth time in a row Nix has put up more than a third of the team's points.

Cannon's loss dropped their record down to 15-12. As for Christ School, their victory was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-2.
Cannon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Christ School, they will take on Forsyth Country Day at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Christ School's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
