Basketball Recap: Dayton Takes a Loss

Dayton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost to the Bellevue Tigers on the road by a 64-45 margin. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Greendevils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 45-40 back in December of 2024.

Dayton's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Bellevue, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-15.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dayton will head out to take on St. Patrick at 6:30 p.m. on February 5th. As for Bellevue, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Highlands at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
