Football Recap: Southeast Halifax Trojans vs. Wilson Prep Tigers
After a string of three wins, Southeast Halifax's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They had to suffer through a 46-6 loss at the hands of the Wilson Prep Tigers. The defeat continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.
Travon Usher continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Wilson Prep, rushing for 252 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries. Usher really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run.
Southeast Halifax's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Wilson Prep, they pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
