Dayton waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Spring Creek Spartans 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Dust Devils have posted against the Spartans since October 15, 2022.

Dayton walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-14, 25-17, 25-19.

Dayton was led to victory by ARACELI ACOSTA and LISINITA TULIMAFUA-CURRAN. ACOSTA had 15 digs and one assist, while TULIMAFUA-CURRAN had eight assists and two aces. ACOSTA is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Dayton's win bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Spring Creek, their defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 10-10.

Dayton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Elko on the 27th. As for Spring Creek, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Fernley on the 27th.
