Recap: Whitehouse Wildcats vs. Tyler HEAT
The Whitehouse Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their eighth straight loss. They were dealt a 63-34 loss at the hands of Tyler HEAT. While losing is never fun, Whitehouse can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 838th, while Tyler HEAT is ranked 209th).
Tyler HEAT got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jackson Tomlin out in front who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and six assists. Another player making a difference was Jet Bell, who scored 12 points.
Whitehouse's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Tyler HEAT, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.
Whitehouse will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Lindale at 7:45 p.m. on December 28, 2023. Tyler HEAT won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Brook Hill at 5:15 p.m. on December 28, 2023.
