Kasson-Mantorville lost to Byron back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Komets came out on top against the Bears by a score of 2-0. The game was the first time the Komets have beaten the Bears on their court since November 5, 2022.

The victory made it two in a row for Kasson-Mantorville and bumps their season record up to 7-3. As for Byron, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-4.

Kasson-Mantorville has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Rocori on the 13th. As for Byron, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Lake City on the 16th.
