Santa Maria is 9-1 against Righetti since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Santa Maria Saints will head out on the road to challenge the Righetti Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Last Friday, Santa Maria came up short against Arroyo Grande and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Righetti was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Pioneer Valley. That's two games in a row now that the Warriors have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Isaiah Torres, who's now up to two this season.

Santa Maria has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8-2 record this season. As for Righetti, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-4-4.

Santa Maria came up short against Righetti when the teams last played back in January, falling 5-3. Can Santa Maria avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
