Basketball Recap: Cristo Rey Comes Up Short

Cristo Rey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by the St. Christopher's Saints 59-32. The match marked the Royals' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Several Royals players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jab Scott, who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Haven Wilson, who scored 11 points.

Cristo Rey's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for St. Christopher's, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Cristo Rey didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 66-39 loss against Collegiate on the 13th. St. Christopher's has also already played their next match, a 67-50 win against Highland Springs on the 13th.
