Football Game Preview: Abernathy Antelopes vs. New Deal Lions

The Abernathy Antelopes will challenge the New Deal Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Abernathy has given up an average of 25.5 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Abernathy's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against New Home on Friday. They took a blow against the Leopards, falling 39-0. Having soared to a lofty 34 points in the game before, the Antelopes' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

New Deal never got on the board in their matchup back in September, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Post on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 34-20 victory over the Antelopes.

Abernathy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for New Deal, they now have a winning record of 3-2-1.
