Softball Game Preview: Holy Cross Lancers vs. Princeton Tigers

The Holy Cross Lancers are taking a road trip to square off against the Princeton Tigers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Holy Cross is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest defeat since March 25th on Friday. They came up short against Steinert, falling 11-1.

Jayla Bullock was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Princeton's offense. They lost 13-0 to Robbinsville on Thursday. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

Holy Cross' loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-6. As for Princeton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.
