Basketball Game Preview: Attica Red Ramblers vs. Donovan/St. Anne

The Attica Red Ramblers will take on Donovan/St. Anne in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Attica is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat South Newton 49-19. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

While Donovan/St. Anne didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They took down Illinois Lutheran 63-44 on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for Donovan/St. Anne.

Donovan/St. Anne's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-5. As for Attica, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-5.

Attica beat Donovan/St. Anne 50-37 in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. Does Attica have another victory up their sleeve, or will Donovan/St. Anne turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
