Softball Game Preview: Colonial Heights Colonials vs. Petersburg Crimson Wave

Colonial Heights is on a six-game streak of home losses, and Petersburg a 12-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Colonial Heights Colonials will be playing at home against the Petersburg Crimson Wave at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Prince George hit Colonial Heights with a nine-run third inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Colonials might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 14-7 to the Royals, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Meanwhile, Petersburg lost 23-1 to Henrico on Monday.

Petersburg's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Colonial Heights, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.
