Volleyball Recap: Carrollton Takes a Loss

Carrollton lost against Eagle's Landing on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Trojans fell 2-0 to the Eagles. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Trojans were not able to get on the board.

Eagle's Landing had a senior duo take command as Antonella Rodriguez had 13 assists and five digs and Syphany Fleming had three digs and three aces.

Carrollton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Eagle's Landing, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Looking ahead, Carrollton will head out on the road to take on Starr's Mill at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eagle's Landing, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Union Grove on the 9th.
