Basketball Recap: Brandon Gage's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Frankford over Paul Robeson

Frankford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 60-50 to the Paul Robeson Huskies. The Pioneers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Huskies apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Frankford's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brandon Gage, who posted 20 points in addition to eight boards and three steals. Doron Ross was another key player, putting up 12 points along with five rebounds and five blocks.

Frankford's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Paul Robeson, they pushed their record up to 12-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Frankford has already played their next matchup (against Olney), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Paul Robeson has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Great Oaks.
