Cumberland Valley won the last time they faced Ephrata and things went their way on Friday too. The Eagles came out on top against the Mountaineers by a score of 9-6.

Spencer Livelsberger tossed a big game, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off only two hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Caden Lloyd, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Schoenly, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Cumberland Valley's record now sits at 9-3. As for Ephrata, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.

Coming up, Cumberland Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Altoona at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ephrata, they will head out to take on Cedar Crest at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Mountaineers are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
