Basketball Recap: Western Indians vs. Paint Valley Bearcats
Western took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Saturday. They skirted past the Paint Valley Bearcats 63-60. That's more bragging rights for the Indians, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Western got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Josiah Satterfield out in front who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 16 boards. Landan Owens was another key player, going 5-for-8 to rack up 16 points.
