Recap: Troy Warriors vs. Fullerton Indians
The Troy Warriors won the last time they faced the Fullerton Indians, and things went their way on Thursday too. Troy blew past Fullerton 68-34 at home. Given Troy's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 147th, while Fullerton is ranked 523rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Fullerton's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Lincoln Salihamer, who scored four points along with 11 rebounds, and Baylor Wilks who scored nine points. Those 11 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him.
The victory makes it two in a row for Troy and bumps their season record up to 11-3. As for Fullerton, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.
Troy and Somerset Academy Losee will round out the year against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at. Somerset Academy Losee is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Fullerton, they will square off against Kellis at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
