Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brown). They blew past the Valley Vikings 30-15 on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bears needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Brown has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.8 runs over those games. As for Valley, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

Brown has already played their next game (against Western), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Valley will be paying especially close attention to the Bears' contest: after the Bears face off against the Warriors, they'll take on Valley again at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
