Lake Gibson and Bartow squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Lake Gibson had to settle for second. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Yellow Jackets. The Braves' loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-13, 21-25, 25-17.

Despite the loss, Lake Gibson still got an impressive performance from Peyton Dipple, who had nine digs and two aces. Dipple has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last six times she's played.

Lake Gibson's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Bartow, their win bumped their record up to 19-7.
