Midland entered their tilt with Augusta on Friday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Red Devils with a sharp 19-1 win. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 contests by seven runs or more this season.

Hayden Jackson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with three runs and two RBI.

In other batting news, Midland got a massive performance out of Cody Hart, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those two stolen bases gave Hart a new career-high. Jace Adams was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

Midland hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in three consecutive matches.

Midland's victory bumped their record up to 19-11. As for Augusta, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13.

Coming up, Midland will take on Riverview at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Augusta, they will face off against Hazen at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
