Baseball Game Preview: South Hadley Tigers vs. Wahconah Regional Warriors

South Hadley hasn't had much luck against Wahconah Regional recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the Warriors at 4:30 p.m. Wahconah Regional took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on South Hadley, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, South Hadley turned things around against Granby on Monday. They put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 19-1 win. That looming 19-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Tigers yet this season.

Meanwhile, Wahconah Regional didn't have quite enough to beat Monument Mountain on Monday and fell 4-3.

Luke Ferguson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Colby Robb was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run.

Wahconah Regional's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-8. As for South Hadley, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7.

South Hadley couldn't quite get it done against Wahconah Regional when the teams last played back in April of 2024 as they fell 6-1. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
