Baseball Recap: Organ Mountain Comes Up Short

Organ Mountain suffered their closest defeat since May 3, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of the Midland Legacy Rebels by a score of 10-8. The loss was the Knights' first of the season.

Osvaldo Arras was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Sean Estenson also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Organ Mountain fell to 2-1-1. As for Midland Legacy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Organ Mountain will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Volcano Vista at 12:00 p.m. on March 8th. As for Midland Legacy, they will face off against Coronado at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
