Football Recap: Willow Canyon Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Willow Canyon played a tough matchup on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the West Point Dragons 60-19. The Wildcats were down 46-7 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Willow Canyon lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Justin Garr Jr, who threw for 261 yards and one TD. A healthy portion of that aerial production (112 yards to be exact) went to Aiden Fuerstenberg.

Xavier Martinez produced another solid effort throwing for 250 yards and five touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also rushing for 81 yards on only five carries for West Point.

This is the second loss in a row for Willow Canyon and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for West Point, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-4.
