Football Recap: The Woodlands Christian Academy Beats Second Baptist for Their Seventh Straight Win

The Woodlands Christian Academy hadn't done well against Second Baptist recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Warriors took their matchup with ease, bagging a 42-10 win over the Eagles. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 249th, while the Eagles are ranked 527th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Santiago Fernandez Villarreal was his usual excellent self, rushing for 126 yards and one TD on only eight carries, while also throwing for 217 yards and a pair of touchdowns. His longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards. Baron Meacham got in on the action as well, returning a kick for a touchdown.
