Volleyball Recap: Gadsden Comes Up Short

Gadsden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Las Cruces Bulldawgs. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Bulldawgs when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-9, 25-9.

Gadsden's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Las Cruces, their record now sits at 15-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Gadsden is set to square off against their familiar foe Centennial at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Las Cruces will challenge rival Organ Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
