Softball Preview: Timpview Thunderbirds vs. Wasatch Wasps
Timpview is on a nine-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Wasatch an eight-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Timpview Thunderbirds will host the Wasatch Wasps at 3:30 p.m. Timpview has given up an average of 16.4 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
It was a Battle of the Birds when Timpview took on Maple Mountain on Thursday. Timpview came up short against Maple Mountain, falling 11-1.
Timpview saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Halia Aumua, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Meanwhile, Wasatch got their first taste of in-conference action on Thursday and they started things off strong. They came out on top against Cedar Valley by a score of 16-11.
